This involves the use of water consumption during the production process. Different industries require different quantities of water to manufacture various products. Some of the products that require high amounts of water are textiles, cement, marble, glass, and cement blocks. On the other hand, some of the products that require lower amounts of water are petroleum products, rubber, petroleum-based fuels, coolants, lubricants, and other drying fluids.

The most effective water management systems include adequate intake, effective transfer, efficient distribution, and effective utilization. These principles form the basis of all other water management systems. However, water scarcity still persists at times even when the product has been fully completed.
